【Scope of this agreement】
Article 1
1. The agreement and related contract made by this facility shall be specified by this agreement, and matters not specified in this agreement shall conform to laws or customs generally established.
2. This facility shall be allowed to correspond to special agreement within the range not against points made by this agreement, laws, and customs, regardless of the preceding clause.
【Application of lodging contract】
Article 2
1.Applicants who wish to apply for lodging in this facility shall apply for the following matters.
(1) Name, address, age, telephone number, gender, occupation, dates of staying
(2) For foreigners, nationality, passport number, place stayed before staying in this facility, place to be stayed after staying in this facility
(3) Date of departure, number of people, time of departure, age classification of people staying in the same room (adult, child, toddler)
(4) Other information this facility requires (adult, child, toddler)
2.If guests apply for the continuation of staying exceeding the dates of staying specified in the preceding Article 1 during their stay, this facility proceeds such a procedure as anapplication of new lodging contract at the time of application made.
3.This facility declines the lodging of guests younger than 18 years old (including high school students) unless we obtain permission from their parents. This facility requests consent forms made by their parents for all guests.
4.This facility accepts guests who are elementary and junior high shcool students unless a person in charge who is 20 years old or older (except family members) accompanies with them, and consent forms made by parents are submitted.
【Completion of lodging contract】
Article 3
1.The lodging shall be completed when this facility agrees with the preceding application. However, this does not apply if this facility proves not agree with the application.
2.If the lodging contact is completed in accordance with the preceding clause, this facility may request the payment of reservation fee with the limit of staying fee for the staying period by specifying the period.
3.The preceding reservation fee will be asssigned to the same article if it is specified in the Article 6, and the remained balance will be reimbursed.
【Decline of lodging】
Article 4
This facility may not correspond to the lodging contract under the following cases.
1.When no rooms are available due to the full reservation.
2.When an application of lodging does not conform to this agreement.
3.When this facility admits a guest wishing to stay may behave against right manners or public discipline or legal regualtions.
4.When this facility admits a guest wishing to stay is applicable to the following matters from (a) to (c).
a)Organized crime groups as specified under the Article 2, No.2 in the Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Group Members (Law No. 77 stipulated in 1991) (hereinafter referred to as organized crime groups), organized crime group members as specified in the same Article, Clause2, No. 6 (organized crime group members), accociate members of organized crime group, related members of organized crime group, and other anti-social force.
b)Corporations and other organziations occupied by organized crime groups or organized crime group members.
c)Corporations and executives applicable to organized crime group members.
5.When this facility admits a guest wishing to stay is obviously affected by a contagious disease.
6.When this facility admits a guest wishing to stay requests violent behavior, or load exceeding reasonable range to this facility or employees of this facility.
7.When this facility unables guests to stay at the facility due to natural disasters, failures of facility, and other inevitable reasons.
8.When this facility finds behaviors which may annoy other guests.
【Cancellation of reservation】
Article 5
1.Guests may cancell the lodging contract by applying for the cancellation.
2.This facility request a penalty for breach of contract in the following cases when a guest entirely or partialy cancel the lodging contract due to the reasons attributable to a guest. However, this does not apply when a cancellation of partial lodging reservation for group guests (more than 15 guests in a group) for the number of guest for 10% (rounding off fractions) prior to 10 days before the date of staying (when this facility accepts the application of lodging reservation later, the date shall be one this facility accepts).
(1) General guests
30% of lodging fee if a cancellation is made 2 days before the date of lodging
50% of lodging fee if a cancellation is made a day before the date of lodging
100% of lodging fee if a cancellation is made on the day of lodging or no arrival without contact
(2) Group guests (more than 15 people) 30% of total lodging fee if a cancellation is made 2 days before the date of lodging 50% of total lodging fee if a cancellation is made a day before the date of lodging 100% of total lodging fee if a cancellation is made on the day of lodging or no arrival without contact
3.This facility may handle the following case as cancellation: If a guest does not arrive 8pm on the date of lodging (2 hours past the scheduled arrival time if the arrival time is notified in advance).
4.In the case where a reservation is regarded as a cancellation in accordance with the preceding matter, if the reasons why a guest does not contact to this facility are due to non-arrival or delay of public transportations such as trains and planes, and reasons not attributable to a guest, this facility does not charge a penalty for breach of contract specified in the item 1.
【Contract termination right own by this facility】
Article 6
1.This facility may terminate the lodging contract in the following cases.
(1) When this facility admits a guest wishing to stay may behave against right manners or public discipline or legal regualtions, and the equivalent behaviors are admitted.
(2) When this facility admits a guest wishing to stay is applicable to the following matters from (a) to (c).
a) Organized crime groups, organized crime group members, accociate members of organized crime group, related members of organized crime group, and other anti-social force.
b) Corporations and other organziations occupied by organized crime groups or organized crime group members.
c) Corporations and executives applicable to organized crime group members.
(3) When a guest behaves severely annoying affecting to other guests.
(4) When this facility admits a guest is obviously affected by a contagious disease.
(5) When a violent behavior and a load exceeding reasonable range to this facility or employees of this facility are admitted.
(6) When this faciliti unables guests to stay due to inevitablity such as natural disaster.
(7) When the payment is not made by the deadline if the request of reservation fee specified in the Article 3, No.2 is not made.
(8) When a guest does not conform to the prohibited matters specified by this facility.
2.If this facility terminates the reservation based on the preceding matters, it does not charge the lodging service which a guest does not receive at that point.
【Registration of lodging】
Article 7
1.A guest shall register the following matters on the day of lodging at this facility's reception desk.
(1) Name, address, age, telephone number, gender, occupation
(2) For foreigners, nationaly, passport number, place stayed before staying in this facility, place to be stayed after staying in this facility
(3) Date of departure, number of people, time of departure, age classification of people staying in the same room (adult, child, toddler)
(4) Other informatio this facility requires (adult, child, toddler)
【Service hour of guest room】
Article 8
1.Hours a guest can use a room in this facility shall be from 3 pm to 10 am in the next morning. However, for guests staying consecutively, they are allowed to use a room all day except an arrival date and a departure date.
2.If a guest leaves luggages in the facility or a room after checking-out, this facility takes a measure equivalent to the laws. If an applicable luggage is clearly belongs to a guest, this facility is allowed to contact an owner of luggage and request instructions at this facility's own discretion (however, this shall not be an obligation).
3.If a guest obviously uses this facility in the reception area for a period equivalent to staying at this facility after checking-out, this facility may request equivalent fee.
【Payment of fee】
Article 9
1.This facility requires a guest to pay the fee by cash, credit card, or a cupon ticket on the date of arrival or at the time when the facility requests to do so.
2.This facility requests a guest to pay the fee even if a guest does not stay voluntarily after this facility provides a room to be used.
【Observation of service regulation】
Article 10
A guest shall be oblidged to observe the service regualtion of this facility.
【Responsibility of this facility】
Article 11
1.The responsibility of this facility shall start from when a guest enters a room or when a guest registers the information at the reception desk, whichever comes fast, and shall end when a guest checks out for leaving.
2.This facility does not take any responsibility on incidents occurred because a guest does not observe the service regulation of this facility.
3.If this facility unables to offer a room for guest due to reasons attributable to this facility, this facility shall introduce other accomodations with the same conditions as much as possible except the case of difficulties such as natural diasaters and other reasons.
【Responsibility of parking】
Article 12
1.This facility does not take any responsibility on damages, loss, and stealing of vehicles parked in this facility's parking lot and other accesories.
2.This facility does not take any responsbility on damages derived from behaviors of other guests, vehicles and accessories in the parking lot and other damages caused by incidents happened in the parking lot.
【Responsbility of guest】
Article 13
1.A guest shall compensate the loss to this facility if this facility is intentionally or by a fault damaged by a guest.
【Handling luggage left at reception desk】
Article 14
1.If luggages left by a guest at the reception desk is lost or damaged while this facility saves them, this facility shall compensate the loss except the cases when it is inevitable as follows.
2.This facility does not take any responsibility even if left luggaages are lost or damages for the following cases.
(1) Loss or damage to the following items (not being able to deposited)
(2) When loss or damage due to inevitable causes such as natural disasters, etc.
(3) When related public offices request to submit items as a piece of evidence or a seized article due to an exercise of judicial power.
(4) When loss or damage due to the ilegal behavior made by the third party.
(5) Other cases with reasons not attributable to this facility.
3.The reception desk does not save the following items in the following article (not being able to deposited).
(1) Money, valuables (bond, precious metal, valuable documents, design drawings, and items regarded as valuable item.
(2) Dead body
(3) Animal
(4) Dangerous items such as volatility or explosive
(5) Items which may be offerd for crime scenes such as guns and blades
(6) Items generating odor. Items easily become rotten or change quality
(7) Items which may contaminate or damage the storage place and unsanitary items
(8) Items prohibited to posess and own by the law
(9) Other items not suitable for storage
【Money and valuable items】
Article 15
1.This facility requires a guest to use a lock for valuable items such as money and other valuable items. A guest shall use a locker for valuable items under his/her responsibility. This facility does not take any responsibility for loss or damage.
【Usage of computer communication】
Article 16
1.A guest shall take a responsibility on the use of computer communication in this facility. This facility does not take any responsibility if a service stops due to system disturbance and other reasons, resulting in any damage a guest may take.
2.On the use of computer communication, this facility requests the amount equivalent to the damage due to inappropriate behavior if this facility and the third party may have damage.
【Change of this agreement】
Article 17
1.The content of this agreement may be changed without notification if it is required to do so in the following cases not specified in this agreement or for business.

Service regulation

Guest House Makotoge (hereinafter referred to as "this facility") specifies the following service regulations to have guests stay with us safely and comfortably. Please understand and cooperate with us. If guests do not observe this service regulation, this facility may decline such guests accessing to this facility.
1.Scope
All facilities (all facilities including accomodation facility, shared space, site) (hereinafter referred to as "various facilities") shall be limited to be used by our guests. However, the lodging contract will be applied for matters not specified in this service regulation.
2.Fire prevention and security
When smoking, please use the designated smoking area. Please do not enter facilities not designated for guests such as a backyard and a mechanic room.
3.Handling of saved items and lost items
This facility will store saved items for 3 months from the date of saving. After this period, this facility will dispose of such items. This facility handles with lost items and found items in accordance with the law (Lost Goods Law).
4.Vaioru facilities
1.Use of internet
・Our wireless LAN is a part of our service, and does not guarantee the Internet environment for sure.
・The communication speed may be slow or may not be connected due to the setting of guest's computer or the congestion of line.
・This facility does not provide any support on various seting of guest's computer or communication environment.
・A guest shall be responsible for protect and manage security of communication device to be connected.
2.Usable hour of facility
Reception desk 7:00am ~ 10:00pm
※Please contact us in advance for check-in outside of reception desk hour.
Private bathroom 24 hours
Shared bathroom  8:00pm ~ 10:00am(except clearning time)
A geuest can use various facilities from 3pm on the date of check-in to 10am on the date of check-out. This facility charges extra fee for using various facilities before check-in and after check-out.
5.Behavior
1.A guest styaing in this facility shall observe instructions made by staff of this facility. If not understood, this facility may request a guest to leave.
2.Only guests who have made a lodging contract are allowed to access to this facility.
3.This facility requests a guest to smoke in the designated smoking area.
4.This facility requests a guest to dispose of trush in accordance with the trash category specified by this facility.
5.Guests who drinks in this facility are not allowed to drive a car or ride a bicycle.
6.A guets is not allowed to bring dangerous items and items prohibited by the law into this facility.
7.This facility requests a guest to behave well not to annoy other guests and neighborhood, although this facility does not specify a closing time.
6.Responsibilities
1.This facility does not take any responsibility on troubles occurred among guests in this facility. Please resolve among the parties.
7.Rental
1.This facility provides a rental service of bicycles; however, this facility does not take any responsibility when intentional accidents or accidents by mistake arises.
2.This facility provides a rental service of bicycles; however, this facility requests a guest to compensate for damage and theft.
8.Other prohibited matters
1.Gambling or behavior disturbing discipline in this facillity.
2.Loud noise, loud singing, and loud behavior annoying other guests in this facility.
3.Fear annoying other guests due to severely filthy body or cloth.
4.Using a room for the purpose except lodging, eating, and drinking without permission of this facility.
5.Bringing items annoyiing other guests in this facility.
a.All animals and pets including dogs, cats, and birds (hoewever, except guide dogs and servuce dogs).
b.Products with danger such as explosives and volatile oil easily indusing fire, items generating odor, and other items prohibited to own by the law.
6.Behavior damaging or attaching foreign materials onto various facilities and items in this facility, behavior transferring items to other places without permission of this facility. Or behavior bringing items outside.
7.Distributing and submitting advertisement, sales of products, persuading, sales behavior, or distribution of flyers without permission of this facility, and encouraging signatures.
8.Disclosing photos taken in this facility for the purpose of sales without permission of this facility.
9.Other behaviors this facility regards as inappropriate.
9.Information
1.Guest House Makotoge prohibits the third party other than this facility from using our sign.
2.This facility is a guest house defined as an inexpensive inn, and runs with permission of hotel business.
3.Personal information registered with this facility shall be protected based on the Personal Information Protection Law, and thiss facility will not dislose, transfer, and sell such information to the third party. However, this does not apply to the following cases.
a.When a guest agrees with the dislosure of information in advance.
b.When the law and the applicable jurisdiction of a government office requests the disclosure.
4.An email address registered when using this facility may be used to send notifications at any time.
5.The right of ownership of photos, sentences, and design on this facility's website shall belong to this facility. They shall not be allowed to be used without permission.
6.The content of this service regulation may be changed without notice and this facility is not responsiblee to notify of guests in advance.
10.Patrol of this facility by staff
1.Please understand in advance that our male employees may clean and patrol floors.


Additional clause: This service regulation shall be effective as of September 1, 2015.
